[THE WIZARD OF OZ]: MORGAN FRANK (1890-1949) American character actor, remembered for his role as the Wizard in The Wizard of Oz (1939). A scarce vintage signed and inscribed sepia 8 x 10 photograph, the original Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer publicity portrait depicting Morgan in a head and shoulders pose. Signed by Morgan in dark fountain pen ink across a light area at the base of the image.
