A good vintage signed and inscribed 7 x 9.5 photograph of the director in a close-up profile study with one finger raised to his lips during a pause in the filming of his historical drama movie The Damned (1969). Signed by Visconti in bold black ink to a light area at the base of the image. VG Provenance: The present photograph was signed for Carlo Giovetti (1916-1999) Italian journalist in the film and entertainment sector who worked for various newspapers including Il Giorno.
