LOESSER FRANK: (1910-1969) - LOESSER FRANK: (1910-1969) American songwriter who wrote the music and lyrics for the Broadway musical Guys and Dolls (1950). Academy Award winner. Signed sepia 10 x 9.5 magazine photograph of Loesser seated in a head and shoulders pose, smoking a cigarette, at his piano in his Beverly Hills home, with a painting by French artist Georges Rouault hanging in the background. Amusingly signed by Loesser in fountain pen ink to a light area of the image, ´This is me, Frank Loesser ´, adding an arrow alongside pointing in his direction, and further adding the words ´This is Roualt´ (sic) in his hand, with an arrow pointing towards the framed painting. A few small scuffs to the image and with various vertical and horizontal folds and one neat tear to the right edge. About G
