COPLAND AARON: (1900-1990) American Composer and Conductor, often referred to as ''The Dean of American Composers'', the sound of his music being widely considered to be the sound of American music. A good signed and inscribed 8.5 x 10.5 photograph by Copland, the Farabola image from Milan depicting the American Composer in a close-up portrait pose. Signed in blue ink `Aaron Copland´ to a clear area of the image. VG
Provenance: The present photograph was signed for Carlo Giovetti (1916-1999) Italian journalist in the film and entertainment sector who worked for various newspapers including Il Giorno.
