SUAREZ ADOLFO: (1932-2014) Spanish Prime Minister 1976-81, the country's first democratically elected Prime Minister since the Second Spanish Republic and a key figure in Spain's transition to democracy following the dictatorship of Francisco Franco. Signed and inscribed 7 x 10 colour photograph of Suarez seated in a full-length pose within a state room. Signed to the lower photographer's mount with a two-line inscription in Spanish (' Para Markuu Haapala, con el afecto de Adolfo Suarez´). VG
