De Gaulle states that his correspondent´s kind wishes have touched him deeply, and he reciprocates with his own sincere wishes, as well as those of his wife to Madame Brugere, and further remarks ´la meme chose votre opuscule sur l´ambassade de Choiseul-Gouffier à Constantinople m’a beaucoup intéressé : je l’ai lu après avoir, précisément, lu les Mémoires de Talleyrand où il est question de votre sujet.
