1939 GERMAN GRAND PRIX: A rare multiple signed vintage postcard photograph by six motor racing drivers who participated in the German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring on 23rd July 1939 including Raymond Sommer (1906-1950; a rare signature owing to Sommer´s tragic death at the age of 44 during a race at the Circuit de Cadours), Rudolf Hasse (1906-1942; a rare signature owing to Hasse´s early death at the age of 36 whilst serving in World War II), René Dreyfus (1905-1993), Paul Pietsch (1911-2012), Georg Meier (1910-1999) and one other, the image depicting the starting grid for the race. Signed by each of the drivers in bold blue fountain pen inks with their names alone, most to clear or lighter areas of the image.
