Manuscript, Goralot Ha'Chochma - Iraq/Bukhara - the Late 19th Century
Manuscript "Parpera'ot Sefer Goralot Ha'Chochma", fortune-telling by a Goral (casting lots). At the beginning of the manuscript, forty questions for fortune-telling, each one made of exactly 45 letters. After the questions, "responses" arranged in kind of a chart of 15 horizontal lines and 10 vertical lines of letters. Beneath each column of the chart, a short "commentary" for joining letters.
The book is similar to the book "Urim Ve'Tumim"; yet the order of the Goralot is different.

24 leaves written on both their sides. 16.5 cm.
Condition: Good. Orderly script. Stains of use. Wear. Original worn binding, with a leather spine.
