Garte Belt Threads of the Lubavitcher Rebbe – Amulet
A paper card, laminated and containing threads – remnants from the small Gartel worn by the Lubavitcher Rebbe. According to the custom of the Alter Rebbe, the Rebbe would wear the Gartel during prayers to keep the Tzitzit in place.
The card is inscribed with the significance of the Rebbe’s holiness, which permeates all aspects of his life and the tools he used for spiritual work. As stated in Likkutei Sichot (Volume 32, p. 25), "The holiness of the tzaddik pervades all his actions, including the items and places he used for his spiritual service."
This small card, meant to be carried in one's pocket as a segulah, measures 10x7 cm. The Gartel was gifted at the time by the Rebbe's assistant (Mashpia) Rabbi Chanania Sini David (HSD) Halberstam, to one of the prominent Chabad rabbis.
Condition: Good, with signs of use.
