Two Ketubot From Alexandria – 1917 /1921
Two ketubot of lithographic printing with letters printed in golden ink. Alexandria. Ink-stamps of the Alexandria Beit Din Tzedek and witnesses' signatures in Oriental handwriting.
1. Upon the marriage of Nissim son of Avraham Dias and Sarah (Sarina) daughter of Salim Sayag, 1917.
2. Upon the marriage of Eliyahu (Leito) son of Menachem Abuharon with Esther daughter of Rabbi Moshe Atzraf, 1921.
46.5 cm. Good condition. Folding marks, minor tears. Stains. The reverse side of one of the ketubot was pasted on paper to strengthen it.
