It has been suggested that the author may be R. AARON DYM (1896-1951). Born in Liska, Galicia, R. Dym received Semicha from R. Shmuel Engels. Migrating to America, Dym led Congregation Sha'arei Torah in New York City and served as secretary of Degel HaRabonim for nearly a decade, thus explaining the multifaceted writings found in the present collection.
