Yuval Israeli (1974), painter and illustrator, lives and works in Givatayim
Yuval Israeli depicts life in his paintings through the landscapes and people around him. He also likes to draw scenes from movies and Hollywood stars.

"Since childhood I have loved to draw and it has become a second language for me. Drawing has always been there to express myself in happy moments and times of difficulty, and gave me the ability to express what I feel at that moment.
I have always loved to draw people and portraits and in general the human body for its beauty and vulnerability has always fascinated me. In the last three years, I started going out to paint on the boulevard or on the roof or simply take pictures in the city and then paint the streets and buildings that I see every day and rediscover the city.
I like to work in a variety of materials from colored pencils to watercolors or oil and enjoy feeling the childish excitement before I start drawing.
I studied illustration at Vital College, which later merged with Shankar.
Later I learned the basics of oil painting at the station studio in Tel Aviv.
I presented a solo exhibition and also participated in various group exhibitions in recent years.''
