For the first time in KooKoo - meet the young artist Tamara Self (1987), a student of Orit Akta, a beginner realist painter and a well-know tattooer from Tel Aviv.

Careful, feminine and extremely delicate works. Tamara uses the realistic shell in her paintings and spices them up with fantastic colors. Please note - the artist is at the beginning of her career and these are some of her first paintings.

''Roses in particular, for me, symbolize love, peace, splendor and power. Perfect natural creation. But at the same time sometimes fragile and painful just like us humans. Standing firm, sometimes getting tired, breaking or drying up - but the beauty always remains there.''
