Important commentary to Tehillim including a vowelized text of Tehillim, by R. Meir Arama.
R. Meir Arama (died 1522), was one of the most distinguished exiles of the Spanish expulsion. He settled in Naples and later Salonika where he led a great Yeshiva. He authored numerous seforim, including Urim V’Tumim commentary to Yeshaya and Yirmiyahu. He was the son of R. Yitzchok Arama the “Ba’al Ha’Akeidah.”
R. Nochum Dov Ber Friedman (1843-1883), was a son of R. Shalom Yosef Friedman of Sadigura (eldest son of R. Yisroel of Ruzhin) and son-in-law of R. Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura, also a son of R. Yisroel of Ruzhin.
