Novella on numerous Masechtos, parts one and two, by R. Yitzchok Guatah. Gifted by the author to R. Yosef Almaliach.
R. Yitzchok Guatah (1777-1857), was born in Italy and studied under R. Moshe Lachmaish and R. Yitzchok Vaaturi. Towards the end of his life he settled in Tzfas where he served as a Rav.
The inscription is not in the author’s handwriting.
Vinograd Livorno 1005, 1018. Otholingo press. [7], 94; [1], 67 pages. 33 cm. Very fine condition. Slight worming, not affecting text. Magnificent modern leather binding.
