Outstanding hand blown glass bowl from the Macchia Studio Edition of "Seaforms." from the Portland Press. Dale Chihuly is inspired by the organic forms and colors of the sea, visible in this large vessel with smooth waves pattern. Chihuly fuses cobalt blue speckled with ocean green, cerulean and gold forms that morph into lime green circular lines ending in a lime green lip warp. Incised signature and number on underside: Chihuly, PP09.
