Jim Lewk, Original Copper & Stone Sculpture, Musician Signed
Original copper sculpture of a Musician with a Harp made in a Brutalist style by artist Jim Lewk. The sculptor left areas of untreated copper and polished parts of the musician's ragged coat. Lewk attached individual threads of copper for the rope belt and the strings of the harp. The musician appears to be singing as his mouth is open. This sculpture is placed on a stone base where Lewk signed and dated his work in black chalk: Lewk, 1970.
