A Group of Silver Whistles
Comprising: an unmarked possibly American 19th century rattle form example with mother of pearl handle, a sterling whistle marked for Frank M. Whiting Co., a pendant form example decorated with a portrait of a woman that features an inset garnet, simply marked STERLING, a sterling repousse example, a whistle hallmarked for Birmingham, the maker Joseph Jennins and Co. and the year 1851-52, a whistle hallmarked for Chester and 1916, a silver plated example with floral, foliate and shield decoration that features a hinged compartment and a silver plated whistle mounted animal tooth inscribed, "Shot by H.J, Xmas".
Dimensions: From 1 1/4" to 6 1/2" long.
Condition:
Overall good with expected wear including small dings.
