An Eldred Wheeler Queen Anne Style Cherry Tavern Table, Massachusetts, Late 20th Century. The oval top over a rectangular frieze with shaped returns, raised on turned tapered legs, ending in small pad feet. Stamped to the underside ' ELDRED WHEELER' and with an applied paper label inscribed "WARRANTED / CABINET WORK / of All Kinds, Made and Sold by / ELDRED WHEELER / at their shop on / 60 Sharp Street / Hingham, MA 02043 / All orders from towne and country will / be thankfully received and diligently / attended to".
Dimensions: Height 25in; width 25 1/4in; depth 20 1/4in.
Provenance: Property from a Local Pennsylvania Collection.
Condition:
Structurally sound. The top with wear, discoloration and liquid stains; otherwise good condition.
