Rabbi Meshulam Zusia Twersky (1910-1988), was born in Russia to Rabbi Chaim Yitzchak, a direct descendant of the Rebbes of Chernobel. He returned to Jerusalem where he married a daughter of Rabbi Mordechai Yaakov Brandwein of Stretin. After WWII he established a Beis Hamedrash in Bnei Brak where chassidim of the Chernobel and Sanz dynasties were drawn to him, due to his saintly personality.
