Rabbi Yehuda Loew (1513-1609), son of Rabbi Betzalel of Worms. Rabbi of Nikolsburg and the province of Moravia (1553), Prague (1573), Poznan and again Prague (1599). Leading European rabbinical leader, who also gained the respect of the general population. Author of numerous monumental rabbinic works.
117 pp. Final leaf (corrections) lacking in this copy. 18.5 x 27.5 cm. Generally good condition. Stains. Slight worming on some pages. Final three pages are damaged, with slight loss of text. Old binding.
