Fronte a balestra con due cassetti sotto piano su altri tre a tutta lunghezza.

Con intarsi e finiture in bronzo dorato su tutti e quattro i lati, alla maniera di Charles Boulle.

Il fitto ed elaborato decoro ad intarsio che ricopre le superfici della nostra splendida commode, nel pieno stile revival di gran moda per tutto l’800 con lo stile Napoleone III e oltre, è ben riconoscibile nella maniera detta alla “Boulle”; tecnica raffinata e alquanto elaborata fu utilizzata anche da altri validi artigiani attivi presso la corte del re Sole, come i noti Alexander-Jean Oppenordt (1639 - 1715), Nicolas Sageot (1666-1731) e Bernard I Van Risenburgh (1660 - 1738).

Crossbow front with two drawers under the top on three long drawers.

Decorated with gilt bronze inlays and finishes on all four sides, in the manner of Charle Boulle.

The dense and elaborate inlay decoration that covers the surfaces of our splendid chest of drawers, in the full revival style that was very fashionable throughout the 19th century with the Napoleon III style and beyond, is easily recognizable in the so-called Boulle manner; a refined and rather elaborate technique was also used by other valid craftsmen active at the court of the Sun King, such as the well-known Alexander-Jean Oppenordt (1639 - 1715), Nicolas Sageot (1666-1731) and Bernard I Van Risenburgh (1660 - 1738).
