Volume of issues of the Yiddish newspaper Welt Spiegel with many references to the Shoah which had just opened and the Round Table Committee. Warsaw 1939.
Volume with the newspaper “Welt Spiegel – Weekly for All”, published in Yiddish in Warsaw. Before us are issues 5-11 February until March 1939. The newspaper has articles, pictures, and advertisements. The authors of the period move between talking about the hope of the building of the Land of Israel (“Jews are building the Land of Israel”) and reports of the Round Table committee in Britain and the winds of war in Europe, with a picture of Adolf Hitler at the Reichstag.
A few bits of tape. Stains. A number of pages have been cut close to the letter margins with light damage to text. Cloth binding with stains.
