Two sections in one volume, with commentary collected from a number of commentators (Ra’avad, the Rosh of Shantz, HaKorban Aharon, and the Vilna Gaon). By Rabban Meir HaKohen of Radin (1838-1933), a great posek among the Achronim. Studied in Vilna, taught in Vasilishki, established his yeshiva in Radin. Participated in the great conference in Vienna in 1923 and was chosen to be the world leader of the Council of Torah Sages. On the inner cover page is written the word Moga in the author’s handwriting. The Chafetz Haim made sure to check every book being sent for sale that there were no printing errors, to prevent theft and fraud. Every book that he checked would get a note in his handwriting on the cover page, “Moga” (he would make sure to write it himself so that others would not write it without checking closely enough). Many of these listings disappeared over the years, since books were rebound or the inscription got erased. Glosses, stamps and notes of ownership.
