The work presents the artist's unconventional approach to form and color. Ye.I. Fokina gives rise to contradictory impressions: on the one hand, the daisy is like a "little sun" - a positive flower, while on the other, the coloring the master uses is in a minor tonal scale. Laconic lapidary form forms a new view of the space, the object that is in it. Only the flower petals, made in a single, dense stroke of paint, are the only element that bursts out of the plane of the canvas.

Undoubtedly such an unusual still life can complement a modern interior!

the Association of Artists of the USSR since 1976, member of the International Federation of Artists and member of the International Art Foundation since 1997.

Studied under Маrina Topaz, Аndrey Zaytsev, Irina Lebedeva, Yuriy Burdzhelyan, Mikhail Anikst.
