Tempera, wood, gesso, two strips of wood on the back of an icon. Nicholas of Myra with selected (family) saints and the Guardian-Angel. Scholastic painting, wide band with cinnabar and carbon black, framing the margin of the icon, by the edge of the icon. The face is finely painted not only in the main figure, but also in the miniatures. Golden ochre and accents of vermilion define the main color scheme of the icon.
