The icon depicts Mother of God in the glow of the mandorla, surrounded by people afflicted by illness and sorrow, and angels doing good deeds in her name. Faces, hands and legs not covered by dress and gold hatching on vestments are executed finely. Selected patron saints on the margins. On the back of the panel, ordering information. (Agafya)
