Костров Николай Иванович (1901–1996). Советский художник, живописец, график. Учился живописи в 1922–1926 гг. во ВХУТЕИНе в Ленинграде у А.И. Савинова, А.Е. Карева, М.В. Матюшина. В 1926 году окончил ВХУТЕИН вместе с Юрием Васнецовым, Валентином Курдовым, Евгением Чарушиным, Гертой Неменовой, Павлом Кондратьевым и другими известными художниками. Выставочную деятельность начал в 1926 г. Работал в технике масляной живописи, коллажа, карандашного рисунка, офорта и цветной литографии, сотрудничал с Экспериментальной графической мастерской в ЛОСХ, работал в «Детгизе» с В.В.Лебедевым. Член Союза художников с 1932г. Произведения Николая Ивановича Кострова находятся в экспозициях и фондах многих музеев России.
