На обложке пятна и залом уголка лицевой стороны, на тыльной стороне след затека в нижней части, надрыв по сгибу. В блоке изогнуты верхние уголки. На обложке и на титульном листе есть дарственная надпись чернилами [Эдику Дмитриеву].
Вениамин Николаевич Лосин (1931-2012) — художник-иллюстратор. В 1958 году был принят в Союз художников СССР. Сотрудничал с книжными издательствами «Прогресс», «Радуга», «Оникс», «Московские учебники», с японскими и корейскими издательствами.
