Провенанс: от наследников художника.
Виталий Тамбовцев — художник-график. Окончил СХШ при ЛЖСА им. И.Е. Репина. В 1956 году закончил Ленинградский факультет Московского полиграфического института. Учился у Г.Д. Епифанова. Занимался ксилографией, офортом, автолитографией. Был членом ЛОСХ с 1966 года. Многочисленные персональные выставки в 1980–1990-е гг.
