Книга вынута из подшивки, следы клея на корешке. Обложка потерта, на нижнем листе росчерки карандашами и небольшой надрыв. Слегка ржавые скобы. Небольшая утрата на [1] странице в тексте у основания. Сгибы страниц [1] и [11] проклеены полосками бумаги.
Охрем Иванович Судомора (1889-1968) — украинский советский график, плакатист и иллюстратор. С 1913 года работал в книжной графике, иллюстрировал детские книги для киевских (позднее венских и пражских) издательств «Время», «Днепросоюз», «Колокол», «Вернигора». В 1913-1914 годах оформлял журнал «Сияние» и многочисленные детские сказки. В 1917-1918 годах, после закрытия большинства литературных и художественных изданий, А. Судомора сотрудничал как карикатурист с периодическими изданиями юмористического направления «Будяк» и «Гедзь». Автор фирменных знаков издательства «День» и «Сияние». 1949 году художник был приговорен к 25 годам за рисунок Иосифа Сталина с окровавленными руками. Был амнистирован в 1955 году.
