Acoma Pottery Framed Collection Obsidian Points
For your consideration is this Acoma pottery framed collection of Obsidian, Flint, and Chert points. This is a good framed collection of pre historic points showing the frame decorated by Acoma Pueblo and Hopi Pueblo Indian pottery shards with mosaic construction on the face of the frame. There are 17 points in this collection showing differing shapes and variety of sizes shown on a red floral decorated fabric. The condition of this framed point collection is good with no signs of damage to the frame or the points preserved inside. Provenance: From a multi-generation artifact collection spanning 80-100 years from Las Cruzes, New Mexico. The measurements of this framed collection are 14 1/2" x 12 1/2".
