On the title page of the book is a stamp of ownership of the righteous Rabbi Moshe Sofer (1840-1927 the Chatam Sofer and his disciple p. 523), the son of Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Binyamin, author of the Ktav Sofer, the first grandson named after his grandfather the Chatam Sofer Founder and president of the "Machzikei HaDat" organization in Zivanbirgen, a genius and righteous man who received the revelation of Eliyahu the Prophet, who was an expert mohel who circumcised the inhabitants of the village of Bisidaviflu, a village in Transylvania whose inhabitants converted to Judaism.
The author Rabbi Yitzchak Ashkenazi served as Rabbi and Av Beit Din of Chodorov, and served as Dayan and Magid in Levov in the year 1782, alongside Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Ruznis and Rabbi Shmuel Schindlinger. His grandson - Rabbi Tzvi Avigdor - rabbi of Munkacz.
