Rabbi Moshe Chaim Greenfeld Av Beis Din of Sajószentpéter (1888-1944), a student of the Daat Sofer and Rabbi Mordechai Weinkler (author of the Shut Levushei Mordechai—mentioned in this tshuva). In 1923, when his father-in-law (Rabbi Chaim Fried) died, he took over as Av Beis Din of Sajószentpéter and as Rosh Yeshiva there. He was one of the greatest responsa authors in Hungary before the Shoah. His greatness was evidenced during the Shoah, when he gave drashos of strength before the community was sent to Auschwitz.
