Yuri Konstantinovich Lyukshin (1949).
Graduated from art school. V. A. Serova. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Member of the International Association of Art Critics. Honored Artist of Russia. Participant of more than three hundred exhibitions in Russia and abroad, including sixty solo ones.
The works of Yuri Lyukshin are presented in many museum collections, including the State Hermitage, the State Russian Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Museum of Fine Arts. A. S. Pushkin, the National Library of Russia, the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), the Ludwig Museum (Cologne).
The main awards of Yuri Lyukshin: First prize for a series of lithographs "Two Figures" (Biennale of Graphic Art, 1983, Frekhen); Gold medal for a series of etchings "Children's Town" (Autumn Salon "Traditions and Search", 1984, Paris); prize of the Odeon publishing house for a series of illustrations for a book of stories by A.P. Chekhov (XIII Biennale of book graphics, 1988, Brno); Gold medal for illustrations for the book by I. Severyanin "The Cup" (Biennale of book graphics, 1989, Leipzig); Silver medal for a series of bookplates (I International Biennale of Small Forms of Graphics and Bookplate, 1998, Beijing); Albin Brunovsky medal "For outstanding contribution to the art of bookplate" (International Association of Bookplate Societies, 2003); Silver medal for a series of watercolors "The Tale of Igor's Campaign" (Russian Academy of Arts, 2004, Moscow).
