Large Ryuichi Kakurezaki Bizen Pottery Vessel
Ryuichi Kakurezaki (Japanese, b. 1950). Large coil-built, wood-fired Bizen ware vessel. Marked along the lower edge. Possibly for flowers.
Provenance: Distinguished Corporate Collection, Minnesota.
Height: 15 in x width: 32 3/4 in x depth: 7 1/2 in. Weight: 52 lbs 9 oz.
Condition: There is general wear throughout consistent with display. There are two cracks extending vertically downward from the upper rim. One crack on each side, each measuring between 1 1/2 to 2 inches approximately.
