Tibetan thangka painting of Achi Chokyi Drolma, pigment on textile, likely 19th century. Depicting figures riding horses wreathed in flames. Three deities hover above a larger, central figure. There is an inscription along the verso.
Height: 24 in x width: 16 in.
Condition: The colors are muted and faded. The surface is mostly stable. There are some areas of pigment loss throughout. There is fraying along the extreme edges. Along the verso there is heavy discoloration. See the lot listing photos. The textile the item is painted on is discolored. The writing along the verso is faded.
