J. & E. Stevens Company, United States. Cast iron and pigment "William Tell" mechanical coin bank, ca. 1896. When the toy gun is loaded, Tell's foot can be depressed and the coin will shoot into the castle as it shoots an apple atop the boy's head.
Height: 6 1/2 in x width: 10 in x depth: 3 1/2 in.
Condition: Discoloration and tarnishing to the metal. Losses to the paint. Cover panel to access coins is missing. Lever to shoot coin does not appear to work.
