2 Chinese School 20th c. Arhats Ink Rubbings
Group of two Chinese school ink rubbings depicting Luohans, 20th century. Possibly a pair of Arhats from "Classical Depictions of 500 Arhats." Both figures are portrayed in flowing robes against stark black backgrounds. Each figure with a saying above them.
Each, Image: Height: 11 1/4 in x width: 6 /2 in. Sheet; height: 16 in x width: 10 in.
Condition: The sheets are toned. They are affixed to a cardboard mat. Extensive water damage along the upper third of the works. The works are not framed. Skimming the edges of the mat surrounding the images, likely from a previous framing.
