19th c. Chinese Lacquered Rosewood Side Chair
Chinese lacquered rosewood side chair, 19th century. With curved back splat, single-panel wood seats, and stretchers resting on square legs and plain feet.
Provenance: The Oriental Impression, Ltd, St. Louis, Missouri, 1985; Private Minnesota Collection
Height: 40 1/2 in x width: 20 1/2 in x depth: 16 in.
Condition: The chair is structurally sound and stable. All of the pieces are still attached. Some separation to the joints throughout. To the back stretcher bar, there are some splits, chips, and several minute holes. Light wear to the feet. Some small chips and scratches throughout the piece.
