Group of four 19th century Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints including:
Utagawa Yoshitsuya (Japanese, 1822-1866). Two prints depicting the horse race at the Fujimori temple in Kyoto. From the series "Tokaido no uchi (The Stations of the Tokaido Road), " ca. 1863.
Kawanabe Kyosai (Japanese, 1831-1889). Depicting the Shomei Gate in Kyoto. From the series "Tokaido no uchi (The Stations of the Tokaido Road), " ca. 1863.

(Sheets) Height ranges form 13 1/2 in to 13 3/4 in; width ranges from 9 in to 9 1/2 in. (Matted, each) height: 20 in x width: 14 1/2 in.
Condition: All sheets have been trimmed. There are small holes, mainly along the edges, of each sheet. The sheets are toned. There are some areas of light soiling. All sheets are hinged to a non-acidic matboard backing along the upper edge of the verso. All works housed between non-acidic mats. None are framed.
