Elgin Silversmith Co., United States. Group of eight sterling sherbet glasses. With sterling stands comprised of bases, stems and pierced bowl. Etched glass cups screw into each sterling stem. Marked sterling, El-Sil-Co, and with patent number along the underside of the base.
(Each) height: 4 1/2 in x diameter: 3 1/4 in. Gross weight of sterling (excluding glass inserts): 6.08 Troy oz.
Condition: All piercing intact, no large dents or scratches, some tarnishing and polish accretions. No chips or cracks to the glass, some minor accretions.
