"Kach Yashir Olam Tza'ir" (Thus will sing a young world) – Book of Lyrics, Musical Notes and Illustrations – Leah Yisrael Zangvil – 1950 – Handwritten Dedication by Leah Goldberg
Leah Goldberg wrote the songs to the illustrations of Arped Izinger and Kata Ya'akov composed them.
Added are the musical notes for a piano, in a separate booklet.
At the beginning of the book there is a handwritten dedication by Leah Goldberg: "On Purim – the birthday of Yossi and of this book, by Leah, 1950".
Leah Goldberg (1911-1970) was an outstanding writer and poet for adults and children. She was a critic and literature researcher, the winner of the Israel Prize for Literature, professor of literature at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Her stories and poems have become a classic for Israeli children.
Condition: Few stains and an inscription in childish handwriting on the back cover.
