A. Religious essay in the handwriting of Rabbi Mordechai David Ilan (1915-1981), on the issue of "Velo yizach ha'Choshen" ("and that the breastplate might not be loosed") which expands to the question of asking the Urim Ve'Tumim.
Printed in his book 'Torat Ha'Kodesh' part B, clause 49. This exceptional rabbi served as a member of the rabbinical court in Tel Aviv-Jaffa and most of the day studied Torah in private. He was an expert on Seder Kodashim and wrote many books on the Seder.
B. Long religious essay by Rabbi Yitzchal Nesher-Adler about the nomination and education of the High Priest.
Rabbi Yitzchak served, already in his youth, as a member of the rabbinical court of Haifa and later, as a rabbinical judge of the rabbinical court in Tel Aviv. He was the son of Rabbi Avraham Nesher-Adler and the father of the famous Rabbi Ben Zion Nesher-Adler.
C. Halachic answer by Rabbi Yehoshua Zelig Diskin to the question whether it is permitted to bury a gentile among the graves of Jews. This question stirred up the emotions of the religious community following the burial of non-Jewish soldiers among the graves of Jewish soldiers. Rabbi Diskin was the father of Rabbi Shimon Moshe Diskin, among the heads of 'Kol Torah' Yeshiva and the father-in-law of Rabbi Gershon Edelstein, the head of the Ponevezh Yeshiva, Bnei Berak.
