AN ORIGINAL ANTIQUE DANISH POSTER 1918
An advertising poster designed by Thor Bøgelund. Artist's signature at the upper left. Published by Andreasen and Lachmann in 1918. The poster is in good condition with slight bends and signs of restoration on the back.Thor Bøgelund Jensen (1890-1959) - is a Danish artist who worked primarily with posters. In Denmark he became the pioneer of poster art as a commercial art. His works are simple and monumental and had a very strong influence on the art of the Danish poster of the 20th century.
