MCLAREN BRUCE: (1937-1970) New Zealand Motor Racing Driver, founder of the McLaren Racing Team, one of the most successful in Formula One Championship history. A rare vintage signed colour 10 x 8 double-page image, evidently removed from a souvenir programme, the image depicting McLaren seated in a racing car with several other men at one side inspecting the car. Signed by McLaren with his name alone to the image, largely across a darker area. Matted in off-white and framed and glazed in a plain black modern frame to an overall size of 14.5 x 12.5. The image was taken at Goodwood Motor Circuit where some years later McLaren would lose his life in a crash. One light vertical fold at the centre and a couple of very small staple holes, otherwise VG
