FUNES LOUIS DE: (1914-1983) French Comedy Actor. A very good and unusual vintage signed and inscribed 9 x 6.5 photograph by Funes. The image shows the comedian in a half-length pose, in costume as Marcel Ravelais, in a scene of Une Souris chez les Hommes (1963), alongside Maurice Biraud and Dany Saval. Signed in bold blue ink `Pour Pierre, amities, L. de Funes´, to the only small clear area of the image. Vintage photographs of Funes are rare and desirable. The present photograph is inscribed to well-known French autograph collector Pierre Goulliard. VG
