MORLAY GABY: (1893-1964) French film Actress. Best known for her silent films, as co-star with Max Linder in his ''Max'' series, She also played Queen Victoria in the film Entente Cordiale, in 1939. Morlay had an affair with Minister Bonnafous during WWII and was investigated for collaboration with the Nazis. A very attractive A.N.S., `Gaby Morlay´, one page, 8vo, n.p., 20th May 1955, to a very fine folding paper card, ornate with lacework, and bearing a colourful embossed swallow.
