CILEA FRANCESCO: (1866-1950) Italian Composer. Best known for his operas Adriana Lecouvreur (1902) and L´Arlesiana (1897) including his celebrated aria `E la Solita Storia del Pastore´ also known as the Lamento di Federico. A.N.S., F. A young Cilea acknowledges receipt of a payment for piano lessons, stating in part `I declare having received from Mr. Rogyty(?) 100 L.
