Rubinstein, a bold and clean signature example, one page, drawing paper, oblong 4to, Ostende, 6th August 1861, in French. Rubinstein annotates a lengthy and poetic inscription, stating in part `This album is a sea of glory and illustrations souvenirs, and you are the beach - Suffer if a wave arrives… and begs you not to forget it when, other waves will follow, bigger ones, and it will become imperceptible - but before anything else sorry if I wander at the beach.´ A contemporary collector´s annotation states to the heading ''Ant.
